Name which single video-game and single video-game system you, in your opinion, believe to be the greatest.

The greatest game that I have played is the "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."

After that game, I retired from non-sports video-games at the age of 12 because of the sheer epic-ness of that game. Now all I play is NBA2k...

I also believe the best system is the N64. The controller was very innovative yet simple. The games included Mario 64, Star Fox 64 (I had the best score of even the people in the Nintendo Power magazine at the time), WWF No Mercy (greatest wrestling game of all-time), and all of the Zelda games... and many others.

It depends on what kind of games you like. I think Dreamcast was the best console for fighters. Xbox for FPS, SNES for RPGs, Genesis for scrollers, PSX for adventures, PS2 for sports. And by no means would that make all other systems far inferior for their generation. NES was just all-around and every platform was great with racing games. I still like PC gaming best for overall, but that's not a console. FPS on a PC still makes console FPS's absolutely pale in comparison, but 104keys, mouse, nearly infinite hardware customization and modders galore can do that.

Game system: PS2
Video game: MVP Baseball 2005

I saw one in Orland over on 159th by Walmart last week.

Oh wait! It was Orland Park! Haha nice.

My dad lives off 159th and works in Calumet City. I was going back and forth so often I must've forgotten where I was.

Sega Genesis. Any Sonic game, Road Rash 2, and all of the Streets of Rage games.

You literally took the words right out of my mouth. Sonic 1 & 2 the best of the series. Would play road rash all night.

And don't even get me started on Streets of Rage. People complain about the prices of games today. Streets of Rage 2 cost $75 when it came out. Beat the game in co-op on the first play through and still worth every penny.

Do I even need to mention the music on Streets of Rage? Thanks to the Genesis having a headphone jack I think I may have destroyed the foundation of my house hooking it up to the stereo.

I would also add Flashback and Strider. Playing Strider was the deciding factor in me choosing to get Genesis over SNES.

Not wanting to return Flashback to the video store ever is what gave me the brilliant idea of taking apart the catridge, removing the chip, and replacing it with an old atari chip before returning it. Worked like a charm so on future rentals I replaced the game chip with old, broken computer circuit boards.

Luckily the statute of limitations is far past.

I would never try and take 159th Street through Harvey. Getting through the light and viaduct at 159th & Park is fucking ridiculous.

For me Asteroids or Space Invaders for Atari 2600. You couldn't save games and my mom also played. She would get the high score and leave the system on for me to see it when I woke up. I miss my mom
