1. It is pretty clear that the Bears are going to have mediocre or rookie QB play this season.

They need to add to the offense in every way they can to support that less than good QB play.

Guys I would look at

Curtis Samuel
Gerald Everett
Will Fuller, do not love the injury history

2. They need to get Foles off this roster and get whatever they can. If that is a pick swap, if that is giving a team a 6th/7th rounder to get that money off the books then do it.

3. Trade Miller, get whatever you can for him. Adding another 5th round OLmen is better than a WR you clearly hate and do not want around.

If they really are going to go into 2021 with Dalton/Foles, then they have to do more to upgrade the offensive line or those guys will just get killed back there. Neither guy has any escapability.

If Dalton will actually throw the ball to Robinson, then that would be at least some upgrade from Foles. I realize some of it was likely based on what the defense was doing in a given game, but it felt to me like Foles often did not target Robinson when he could have.

Would love to add C.Samuel to this team but would obviously have to trade A.Miller but i'm also still all about becoming a Tenn/Balt like team and adding another legit RB and add another mauler to this o-line and run the shit out of the ball and let Dalton (if it is indeed Dalton starting) be a game manager. Use the running game, our TE's and A.Robinson to work our way down the field and eat the clock, then we have Mooney as that deep weapon and C.Samuel in the slot and also played plenty of RB for Car last year. We all didn't want to end up with Dalton as our starter but the guy has done some good things in this league.

The Chiefs just cut Damien Williams who would be a nice addition to Monty and Cohen. There's plenty of RB's out there that we can get for around $3 mil or so.

Have you forgotten who is coaching this team?

I haven't. My hope is that B.Lazor can take back over the play calling duties. Dalton had a good year in i think it was 2018 with B.Lazor. I know there were rumors that Nagy took the play calling duties back from Lazor after a few games but we never found out if that was true so i'm hoping he'll have those duties next year. Probably wishful thinking knowing how big a ego Nagy has.

The problem is if we get rid of Kyle Fuller, that is a huge hole at the CB spot. Expect the defense to decline even further this year without Fuller. On the plus, Schefter still thinks Wilson may be traded and McClain thinks Watson is being traded. Hopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

They aren't dropping Foles. Its more expensive to cut him than keep him

I am sure he did because we started doing the same old shit we were doing before Lazor took over. He just left him in the press box to try and fool people.

According to the fine folks at NFL Total Access, Dalton was the Bears 2nd choice if the Wilson trade fell through. Lord help us all

It just sucks that the NFL made that rule this year that you are not allowed to make any roster moves after March 16th.
