My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I'll be the first to say I haven't watched the Sox much (if at all :shifty:) this year.

So I'll ask the "experts" How does Robin wake up the offense?

Are they going with

De Aza
Kepp
Konerko
Dunn
Rios
Viciedo
Ramirez
Flowers

I'd probably bump Alexi to two in that lineup, without knowing whose hot or not.

That said

here's for a :soxwin:

"**** Robin" has nothing to do with this.

What should Robin do? In reality, not much, he can't do anything...... Unless he wants to play some minor league talent... Which isn't really there.

In a semi-sarcastic world, "what should Robin do?" would be answered by "give Kenny Williams the middle finger as he walks out the door to a new job."

Robin is tied some, though things could be changed a bit too.

Kepp is a bench player. Has been his whole career and is now. When Gordon comes back, bench Kepp.
Move Ramirez up in the lineup. He's been one of the bright spots if you look closely. And I mean really close. :)
Move Dunn down in the lineup. He's not producing at the four spot. I'd move him down two to three spots.
Play Paulie as the #4 bat in the lineup as Dunn's replacement

Truthfully, the team is bad. Hard to make pie with dirt.

My lineup:
De Aza CF (speed, OBP)
Gillaspie 3B (contact hitter)
Rios RF (5 tools)
Konerko 1B (power)
Viciedo LF (power)
Alexei SS (mostly contact, some speed, some power)
Dunn DH (Rally Killer, Strikeouts)
Flowers C (Power)
Greene 2B (Contact)

Need to start shipping guys out of here. Dunn needs to go maybe we could rape a team like the royals who have a dire need for power and have a good farm system

Ventura should become a player-manager like Pete Rose was for the 1986 Reds. He can't hit any worse than their current team.
this has been the best idea in this thread i believe

What should Robin do?

Blame your boy Kenny for this mess of a team. You've been sucking his dick for years and now you reap the rewards.

lol not his fault that he has chris sale, alex rios, de aza, alexi, jesse crain, addison reed, paul konerko, jon danks (who was dealt for mccarthy) lol axelrod, vicedo. you take the good with the bad. no excuses for hahn to not make changes this offseason. ben cherington blew up the red sox and got rid of theos mess, not sure if you quite grasp the concept. hahn knew he had enough pitching so instead lets hold onto a shitbox floyd and take a chance that he could get hurt, guess what? we get nothing for him now. 10 years from now you same uneducated fans will still be blaming kw. if they won the world series this year you would strawman it and praise hahn, but since they are bad you pick kw.

Have robin lay a big bag of coke on a table and let our hitters do a bump. Definitely be more fun than watching this shitshow

Not bad but Flowers & Greene barely make enough contact.

Flowers has power when he actually connects with a ball.

Definitely agree with your assessment of Flowers, but I think Greene needs more ABs

It's better than nothing. Robin just keeps trotting out the same ole BS lineup that is doing nothing.

I get it, his hands are tied but god damn, try mixing it up.

Attempting to have an actual discussion with you is pointless. I'm not going to blame KW 10 years from now, but he is certainly on the hook for the next year or two. He fled to a better position while he left the team with old talent, very little young talent and a very poor farm system. It will take a couple of years to clean up the mess he left behind.

Mix it up with who? You've already said Flowers and Greene pretty much blow... So what should they do?

Only if he's playing 1B or DH'ing. Gillaspie's actually been one of the few decent hitters on the team this year.
