Hi all. I'm coming to Chicago in two weeks, and only have plans for the Skydeck. I considered the John Hancock tower instead but I want to do the whole glass room. Otherwise, what would you recommend I do for the day or two ill be there? I'll be there on a Monday and Tuesday. Also, who has the best pizza in all of Chicago? Thanks!

You can get a tour of Soldier Field. That is what I want to do next time I'm in town (May).

I would grab some food at Portillos or Gino's. Navy Pier if you've never been.

I'll second Navy Pier. It's still the best tourist attraction here, you're not all that far from the museums, however the museums have become pretty lame and pricey.

Pizza? Best Pizza? Shit, the pizza has gotten worse over time from the typical hot-spots, and the best pizza-makers have scattered out into the suburbs which takes a lot of know-what and know-how to distinguish from worthy and yet-another-pizza-place. I would skip the pizza and find some polish food. Best Polish food in the world, in Chicago, better than going to Poland.

I also recommend going to Navy Pier and Portillos. Get their Ribs and Italian Beef, it's amazing IMHO

Eat at Portillos or AL's Italian Beef. Ginos East is pretty good, but I got used to it so it's not as good as the first time.

Check out Michigan Ave and State Street of course.

The Shed Aquariaum is always fun.

Also, go to Garretts Popcorn. Best popcorn I've ever had.

Lou Malnati's River North still has the good original version. Or try La Roma's, 848 N. State.

Take a tour of Wrigley Field or U.S. Cellular Field and Soldier Field. Visit the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, have some fresh Polish sausage and some Lou Malnati's/Giordano's. Take a ride on the Chicago River, walk along the Magnificent Mile and take a stroll on the shore of Lake Michigan. There's no limit to what you can do and see in the Windy City. Truly one of the best cities in the world. Once you visit, you may never want to leave.
