They should trade him and bring in a good young pitcher.
I think Abreu needs to play. You move a youngster to be a full time DH and they tend to lose their bat.
Generally speaking, this is true. However, with Abreu's rare combination of talent, focus, and attitude, I don't see DH being a a problem for him.
At the pace he's on, I think most people agree he'll be a HOFer if he stays healthy, regardless of what position he plays.
Don't hit the kool aid too hard

What I said is not an exaggeration. It's his first season in the MLB and he's already breaking records with his bat. Nobody does this.
Tuffy Rhodes did. Joe charbeanu (sp) did.
I like him too but please

Point taken, but it's hard not to get excited. The future is looking bright for the White Sox.
Dunn was a gamble for a playoff roster in contention, a gamble which failed I might add.
This current team will be in rebuilding mode at least until 2016, hence Dunn's services are no longer required.
Move Abreu to DH, Gillaspie to 1st and give Davidson a shot a 3rd next year. We should be giving these young kids as many ABs as possible.
what!?
