What Would YOU Do?

Recently I heard a famous media personality telling a story about a wedding he attended.

So I've got a hypothetical for you and am very interested in what you would do in this situation. I want as many of you to get involved with this as possible because I found it so interesting.

Here's the hypothetical:

You go to a wedding. Suddenly it is crashed by Dennis Rodman.

He is under-dressed...trucker hat...smoking a cigar...and he comes walking in with 3 men who are in his posse.

This is your wives day. She has spent her entire life dreaming about it and it is finally here. Dennis Rodman walks in with three uninvited guests with a lit cigar and sits down. What do you do?

Or supposing it wasn't your wedding but that you were the best man...what would you do?

I get him to sign his autograph on my wife. :laugh:

I let him stay if my wife wants him to stay, or kick him out if that's what she wants. It's her day, and there is no reason to start off your marriage with a big fight.

Part of me wants to say, you ask him to leave immediately.

Again, this is your wives day. That's why the woman comes to the man and the song isn't "Here comes the ape." Those of us who are married will know it's mostly her day.

Do women dream of their wedding from childhood and dream of Dennis Rodman crashing it, walking in uninvited...under-dressed and bringing other uninvited guests?

This whole thing makes me shutter because it isn't his day! To me, it's completely inappropriate to do this and to crap on somebody else's day. Then again Dennis Rodman doesn't live in the same world we do...almost everything he does is completely inappropriate.

It's the world many celebrities live in...that they're going to make everything be about THEM. You can't walk into a wedding uninvited, under-dressed with a lit cigar guys...if you do that you are commanding the attention to be on you.

Then again even if you do decide to ask him to leave, wouldn't that create a big scene on your wives day? Go up to him and his entourage, "Excuse me guys but you have to leave right now."

Dennis Rodman is huge and his friends were probably big guys too. I'm 6-4" but only weigh 148 pounds. There's no way I'd be able to kick those guys out...they would just laugh at me.

So probably another part of me would be completely starstruck...I'd want an autograph...probably a picture...maybe take a video and put it up on youtube that same day...

But at the same time i just think that is so unbelievably inappropriate. It's not his day but he has to make it about him rather than the bride and groom on one of the most important days of their lives.

Just strikes me as selfish.

I'd do what my wife wants to do, but I'd probably end up asking for an autograph regardless.
