In your own personal opinion, what's the scariest part about being a Bears fan right now after this loss to Tampa?
There are no right or wrong answers here, just a person question.

For me it's the fact that even if the Bears draft another QB next year, this coaching staff has done nothing to lead me to believe that they can develop the next QB. AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! I'm an eternal optimist, but this may be one of the first times in my life that I don't even believe a change at QB can fix shit because of how many things are wrong with the Bears including upper management.

The NFL rule change made a couple years ago which made it easier for ownership groups like the McCaskeys and Maras to keep control of their clubs.

The fact the Bears obviously need to shift away from Poles and Flus (and probably Fields) and yet ownership will hang onto all of them for another year (or two).

We get another new coach and another rookie QB and another offensive scheme (maybe). Rinse, wash, repeat.

Its the owner. Its always been the owner.

The owner doesn't know whats happening in front of him and he'll easily be convinced to allow a bad gm and bad hc to get their own QB and extend their own Bears lives. Then next regime gets said QB and on and on goes this thing of ours.

This is what they deserve for having an event planner as a shadow GM.

Everyone calling for Poles/Flus' heads are completely missing the point. Ownership is the issue because the shit flows downstream. Shame on us for thinking anything could really change while the McCaskey's own the team. The best we could hope for is another Lovie-type coach and team.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
I usually pick a few teams that I like and watch them when the Bears aren't playing at the same time. And then I kind of root for them as the season goes along, because I know they're not completely pants-shittingly incompetent and I'll get to see good football games.

Watching good football games is pretty fun when you don't have to worry about your terrible ass team being a complete embarrassment.
