they are both bad, but what the **** is throwing someone out the window for? you are intentionally hurting someone and risking their life. while DUI you are risking the lives of others, but it isn't intentional. both are bad though, I just think when it is intentional it is slightly worst.

The thing is, throwing someone through a window isn't always intentional. Sometimes you get in a fight and smash a window.

also please tell me how many instances of someone breaking through a window (statistically mostly at ground level) has killed multiple people and ruined thousands of lives.

I never drive after drinking, I don't condone it, so don't get me wrong here. But I voted for Throwing someone through a window.
Now if you had DWI there, instead of DUI... I would easily vote DWI. To me there is a huge difference between a DUI and DWI. Unfortunately, if you want stats, you wont get them based on DUI data, because there are plenty of cases where DWIs are lowered to DUIs thanks to good lawyers, and many judges who think they are above the law, and drive after drinking themselves.

Which is worst, intent to harm or potential ramifications from unintended acts.

Consequences/risks, in most cases, are much worse for driving drunk and are realized far to often to ignore as coincidence.

don't see how you got that out of my posts.

Find me instances of where someone throws someone through glass and multiple people die. The possible outcomes are worse for drunk driving.

As much as I don't support drinking and driving, a DUI is not drunk driving.

If it's an accidental throwing out of a window... then driving drunk is worse.

If it's intentional... then throwing somebody out the window is worse (depending on whether or not it's a lethal number of stories).

But, as a whole, drunk driving is much worse, and kills much more people per-year than people getting thrown out of a window- with intent to kill.

I voted for "throwing somebody out of a window" because this is purely on an individual basis (1 act vs another)

and if I could find statistics on people being thrown through windows, I'd have to assume most of them occur at 1st 2nd floor (stores/houses). Typically far from fatal and not as shocking as someone throwing someone through a window of a 30th floor (those windows are usually especially thick for safety reasons)

My whole point here is that people see DUI, and make some assumption that a DUI = drunk driving. BAC of .08% is not drunk for the majority of people. The laws are so strict, that some people can get drunk one night, sleep it off and be just as alert as normal, and get a DUI.

DWI, Driving While Intoxicated, is what you are implying for DUIs. It's that mistake in wording, that causes confusion.

Also, I don't know how one throws another person through a window by accident. It wouldn't be "throw" if it were an accident.

Maybe the case should be for making a statistic for people thrown out of windows. You could head that campaign.
