You call me a troll yesterday and then start a new thread to post this 😂. You already mentioned this yesterday several times. And just like yesterday things haven’t changed. The talent drop off from 7 to 10 is nothing. Stop being an idiot and use your brain. We aren’t dropping back from 1 or 2.
A lot of posters wanted Banks at LT because it would have finally solved the Bears OT problem for the next decade with him and Wright being the bookends. He was drafted #9 right before the Bears.

Ok and your point is what exactly? Bears got a potential star of a TE. You have no idea if Banks would have been the pick if they drafted any earlier haha. Just let it go. Bears got a talented player. It’s just not the player you wanted.

I hope he becomes a star TE, but Banks was who a lot of posters wanted. I believe it’s no secret that the Bears are not settled on the LT position. If so, wouldn’t they have extended Braxton Jones by now?

Drafting Banks would have given the Bears cheap highly drafted bookend Offensive Tackles for a few years before extending Darnell Wright.
