Where do you live?

Where do you folks live? In a dorm, with your parents, have your own place?

I live in an apartment with my GF of 3 1/2 years. Sucks paying my own bills but it feels liberating not having to rely on parents $$$.

Have my own place with the wife...1700 sq ft townhouse. Don't have the mow the lawn, deal with bushes/trees, pave the drive, or shovel the snow . We also have good neighbors who often hang out with us outside during the summer sharing a fire with our fire pit and a tasty beverage.

I live in an apartment with my girlfriend of 4 years. Since graduating college, bills have been kicking my ass. May have to move back in with some family in Des Moines soon. Wouldnt be too bad. My family pretty much kicks ass.

I live with my aunt and mother in our condo in Oregon (its a 'burb of Toledo). Once my mom moves out I get the upstairs bedroom, so; go me.

I live with my parents. I just graduated HS last year and I'm just taking a couple online classes for now. I might plan on getting an apartment with about 4 of my other friends in the fall so the rent wouldnt be that bad,the only thing is we dont know where we'll be getting one yet. We might be getting an apartment near UIC.

Been going to a community college the past few years, so I've been able to live with my parents. Next fall though I'll be in a dorm or apartment at EIU.

Still live with parents while I go to a community college. But I want too and am planning too move into an apartment with my friend (I hope she goes but she's still undecided) as we both attend Westwood. We would live in an apartment in Chicago. That's my plan but still far off.

take it from someone who has bills out the ass...live w/ your 'rents as long as you can...all your friends will have their places and you'll be welcomed to come and go as you please, both from there and from your 'rents as you age....cheap as shit.

totally agree with X & Addison seems when you "think" you got everything current & have some cash to spend on yourself or save & BAM another bill or something comes up $$$$$ = gone...your parents house is the best thing save your money boys... while you can

If the economy doesn't squeeze me dry, I'll have my house paid off in 9 years.

And if your options are parents/rent, then hells yes, Parents. But if you can truly afford it, buying your own starter-home is still the way to go, even if the real estate market went to crap.

LIving with my wife and kids in a home we get to pay mortgage on. We believe God gave us this great place to help entertain family and friends
