One year ago when people had 3 days notice to not drive?....and did so anyways.

@ home rollin stogies & sippin on patron......fucked up my back shoveling myself out on day 3 tho & had my forced vacay extended another day :)

This pattern is not all that unusual, except in Alaska where my cousin can't take it anymore after 30 years...been brutal up there.

In the early 80's we had a winter that hit 27 below, the following year we wore short sleeves on Christmas Eve.

I wasn't at work because the store I worked for at the time (Best Buy) was closed that day. Only time I ever remember that happening.

I was in northern kentucky and we were snowed in as well. Not nearly that bad, but still you weren't allowed to do any driving. The university canceled class for like 4 straight days so I was happy.

I drove home while it was snowing that night. Took about 3 hours. Then I stayed home the next day when I looked outside and couldn't see my car anymore.
