Great thread Bearmick. I wouldn't hesitate to get a prime Richard Dent on the roster. For the offense a young Brandon Marshall would do wonders for the offense if we could medicate him between games.

Really good question. There are several places where past players would have been great upgrades like:
Hampton/Dent @ DE
Urlacher @ ILB
Covert @ LT
Payton @ RB
Frazier @ CB
Brown @ S
The one that to me takes a position of weakness and makes it a position of great strength would be Wilber Marshall @ OLB.
While the other positions would go from a good to a great player, the OLB position would go from nominal starter to all-pro.
You could make a case to play Urlacher at the OLB spot but that wasn’t where he made his mark. Dent IMO couldn’t have played LB, he had great short area quickness but wasn’t fast enough for OLB.

I like our safeties, but Mike Brown in today’s game would be huge,

Right now we have a MLB who is often injuried, one is holdout, and the other is a career backup...

I’ll go with Urlacher!

Peppers in his prime. Idk any of the historic Bears pass rushers. I started watching Bears games in 2003

if they had mike brown the other night joe mixon wouldn't have spun into the endzone, he would have gotten jacked.....I love Walter and have watched hundreds maybe thousands of players but I've never seen one make an impact consistently as much as Mike Brown

I'm picking one on each side of the ball.

Gayle Sayers would absolutely thrive in this offense and of course he would make our special teams special again.

I have a tie on D. We need Wilbur Marshall at this time but a guy like Gary Fencik, who was a sure tackler and ball hawk, solidifies the safety position.
