  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Central Florida Knights
  2. TCU Horned Frogs
My picks:

Kyle Fuller

As a rookie, he had streaks of brilliance and also struggled mightily at times. Under Fangio and Donatell, Fuller becomes a lock down press corner.

Christian Jones

His size and athleticism were on display last year. He showed constant improvement with his increased game reps. He had a sack in each of the last two games and was a tackling machine. With proper coaching and utilization, he has the ability to make a drastic jump in year two.

Al Louis-Jean

This is a projection because he looked a bit lost last year. He has the length, runs pretty well, has the ability to jam and is a willing tackler. Plus, he's only 21. I think he will thrive under Donatell.

I'm hoping one of the LBers....Bostic, Greene, Shea or Jones can develop

Fuller. Fox mentioned him as a player to build around. Tucker really made it hard for any corner to succeed, especially a rookie, but Fangio should play to the strengths of Fuller. More press man less 10 yard cushions will do wonders for him.

I really like Al Louis Jean. I think he played pretty well considering his inexperience, our lack of a pass rush, and having Mel Tucker calling the plays and running your defense. I'm optimistic about him and I agree with Jones and Fuller. I'll say Ego improves and finds a niche on this team as well.

Going with the guys on defense is the logical way to go with adding Fox, Fangio and Donatell but i think a couple young guys on offense will step it up next year.
K.Carey should get a considerable amount of more touches than he got last year and with Forte being in the last year of his deal i'm sure they'll want to see what Carey can do. There is some talk of them drafting a RB so this is only if they don't.
M.Wilson should also get much more touches with BMarsh being gone and this is the year that he absolutely has to show us something and this also depends on if we draft another WR which most think we will.
Ego ferguson is also gonna have a big chance next year to show us what he can do with only Ratliff to share time with at NT as of now.
J.Bostic and Shea McLellin will both need to step it up as well.

Fuller, Jones and Bostic for sure. Shea I'm 50/50—he'll either totally bust out and be gone, or emerge as the player we HOPED he'd be. I also think Wilson should really improve, unless we draft Cooper/White, in which case he's back to a #4, really. I think Ego was already playing well, and should continue. Carey has to get more touches, and I do kind of like ALJ.

Jordan Mills will be healthy and bounce back to a quality starter.

What young players can you say improved under Trestman? Hell, what players at all improved from the start of 2013 to the end of 2014? Jeffery and then maybe Kyle Long?

Jones, Bostic, and/or Foster have to improve. One of them needs to be a building block inside for the future. They are all under 27 and all top 100 talents coming out out in their drafts. You'd think at least one would be able to earn a 2nd contract with the Bears within the next year or two.

Ferguson. I really think the 3-4 defense is going to bring the best out of him. He doesn't have to be great at NT, but Fangio got by with lesser talented players than him for years. Ferguson could be a Dan Williams type of NT, I feel.

Brock Vereen. Really interested to see what the Bears do with him. Jones get mentioned as a guy Fangio will love due to his versatility, but what about Vereen? He's a similar player to last year's 49ers 1st round pick, Jimmie Ward. Vereen could play some SS, FS, and nickel in Fangio's D the way Ward did.

Not really sure on offense. Would love to see Mills improve. Going into his 3rd year is when I expected him to be coming into his own and just now becoming a starter. Lesser of all evils (Webb, Carimi) as a rookie starter. Missed most of camp last year. Hopefully, he can improve in a new offense and be a solid RT if the Bears don't draft anyone better there.
