People keep saying how its all Z this and Z that.

I am by no means a Z supporter, but he just needs to be left alone. Let him start, let him pitch, and we will be fine. Don't try fucking with a good thing.

It's when people start questioning him that he gets that look in his eye. You know, the "I'm going to beat the shit out of a cooler look."

I agree, people just need to leave him alone.

Yeah I mean last year he had a 3.33 ERA. Nothing wrong with that.

Only thing that concerns me is his HR/FB rate was REALLY low last year. That could mean his ERA was artificially good.

I believe IMO it will all depend on how competitive the cubs are and also how the defense plays around him. If there is a string of errors and it keeps happening he will blow up again.

I agree with you, I think Z can be one of the best in baseball when hes on. I'd love to see him on the South Side.

It'll be interesting to see how well he can keep his composure this year, but I expect him to be a force on the mound.

His ERA was very artificially good. Those expecting him to repeat that low of an ERA will be disappointed, although he hasn't been below 4.00 in 8 years.

Something interesting to look at after this season, depending on his performance of course, is if Big Z will retire or not...

You mean hasn't been over...

And he won't retire after this season, he's signed for 2012 already.

yes my bad...thats what i meant

Also, it's not out of the realm of possibility for him to retire. He's discussed it before, and there's precedence with what Gil Meche did this past summer.
