IF they can get Martinez for three years, not four, it would be good. I think that they still should look at Wilkens though as well as a good young left handed hitting outfielder. But pitching should be the first, second, and last priority. I still want them to consider making Jones into a right handed starting pitcher as a start. The present bull-pen needs to be blown up. IF they try to recycle shit pitchers and hope that Cooper can make gold out of cow dung they are nuts.

If Martinez makes us a contender who cares how long he is signed for as long as they put together a team good enough to win it all of course. Otherwise we should just stay away. Any FA list?
