We need the catcher and more lefties with shift gone.
Desperate Angels never learn, although Giolito is a playoff asset even though it's never materialized, I think you need only look at our own 2005? World Series run to see good pitchers getting great Scott hot in October is what you need.
Gio's game screams that it SHOULD happen, and with Angels you certainly don't need to be perfect to win.
This trade is only a win win if Angels ever reach playoffs with Trout/Ohtani/Gio all healthy.
We will gladly take their 2nd and 3rd prospects.
