Hmm, not bad. Could be a solid addition of power off the bench.

He's OK in my book. He knocked the Red Sox out of contention for the playoffs. I have hope for him now that Walker is gone. Maybe he can be a solid utility guy.

Can he hit a baseball?
He might :dunno:

He'd be more likely to eat a baseball though

He's a Packer fan too. :turrible:

Lmao

Can't have a Packers fan on the Sox. Maybe he can play for the Brewers. They need a big 1B now that Fielder's gone.

Two things this reminds me of: His go-ahead HR against the sox last year, at a game i was attending, prompting me to yell "Who the hell is Don Johnson?!?!"

Dennis Reynolds: "Don Johnson's the dude from Miami Vice, Charlie."

And yes, I'm aware that his name is Dan. But I'm also aware that he's so irrelevant that it doesn't matter what his name is.

Sox have no depth, brett. What if injuries start piling up?

Dan Johnson isn't coming here to start. Him off the bench isn't the end of the world.

We have nothing to lose.

He hits homers against the Yankees and Red Sawx fans hate him. That's good enough for me.

He can play one position. 1st. And really isn't major league material. Basically you can plug anyone in at first base for a few games. And if it gets to a point where we lost Konerko and Dunn for significant parts of the season or either of them really, the season is lost and we need to see what a kid from the farm can do with the opportunity.

We're getting excited over a 32 year old like we're Cub fans.
