White Sox Talked Fielder...

Before the Sox signed Dunn to a 4 year/56M deal. The Brewers and White Sox talked about a Prince Fielder trade. Names were exchanged, but the process was not far at all. The Sox knew they can't trade for Fielder, so they signed Dunn. The Brewers are reportedly asking for a lot in return and the Sox really don't have anyone. I would imagine Sales and Flowers would have to be included. But, I don't think the Brewers will have much interest and I don't think the Sox will give up a good young arm in Sales. I like fielder alot but he's not a 100 mil. player and he wants like 150 mil. Well if were thinking outside the box and gona spend 100 mil on a player it's pujols. But thats too dreamy. If i was milwaukee he is leaving anyways so i wouldve said we want beckham, and if they balked id say give us Sale, Viciedo, Floyd and Flowers. But id rather not rape our farm system! We need to get our farm stacked so we can wheel and deal

All Fielder wants is the money. Dunn will help the ball club greatly as will AJ now. Kenny needs to quit playing around with Paulie and Carlos before we lose to great players. The line up is looking more like the 2005 line did. I have no clue about Cofield but have my reservations about letting Linebrink go. Coop will know what to do with the new kid. I think we should have traded Jenks away first.

I dont think the Sox could get Fielder, and i would want to give that much up for a rental player. not worth it, i agree with most of you that hes not where its at ... Dunn is!!!
