White Sox Talking Bell?

Per Ken Rosenthal, White Sox are one of the interested teams in SD's closer Heath Bell. There's also a report that Heath Bell will be traded. Now my concern is, is this another type Linebrink screw up? Vet reliever from the NL. What are your thoughts??

I'd say Flowers and probably a low level prospect. He only has a year left on his contract.

after seeing how SD got fleeced in the agon deal with a player on a 1 year deal, they may take....well........southpaw for him.

Harrell isn't worth a year of Bell. Now, if they traded for Bell and extended him, then I would give them Harell and an AA player or two.

i think it takes more than harrel to land him. maybe not in quantity but in quality.

But like I said, only if we can extend Bell. If we can't, then only keeping him for a year isn't worth the haul they probably want.

Uh, Harrell is definitely worth a year of Bell. Don't know who you're thinking of but Harrell isn't that great, Bell is one of the nastiest relievers in the league...
