his defense is good. but for this year a rental bat would be great.

I don't understand people that talk shit on him. He's a rookie. He is obviously going to make mistakes. He has great defense, but most rookies aren't patient at the plate.

Might be less if some of the vets had been able to put up decent numbers. Easier to hide the learning process.
