Pretty self-explanatory, eh? Here are a few of mine:

I'm totally unashamed to admit I have a horrific obsession with Mike Trout that borderlines on embarrassing. He is hands-down my favorite athlete right now, even more so than Derrick Rose. The way he plays the game is just exciting. It also doesn't hurt that he plays for the Angels (my 'other' favorite MLB team) and he wears #27, which is Vladimir Guerrero's number (my all-time favorite baseball player). If I was walking behind Mike Trout and he blew his nose and threw out the Kleenex, I'd probably dig through the trash and keep it.

Ahhhhh, Kevin Durant.

Ohhhhh, Patrick Willis.

I'm also a huge MMA and boxing fan...... Love Anderson Silva and Andre Ward.

Can be either, I guess. My personal selections were just current players to keep it somewhat limited.

I'd have to go with the Flyers' "Legion of Doom" line (Lindros, LeClair, and Renberg), it was impressive watching those guys just dominate the boards. Pavel Bure has to be in there too along with Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr, and Ray Bourque. Can't really argue with Durant. Probably Howard as well (love the glass eaters). Oddly enough there really aren't a whole lot of football players I'm all that enamored with...Polamalu I guess would be one. I've been pretty impressed with Watt so far in his young career. Guys making that many plays from a 3-4 DE spot is just about unheard of. London Fletcher would be another just because he's still a stud at his age.

NFL - Adrian Peterson and other Vikings, Peyton Manning
NBA - LeBron James, Ricky Rubio
MLB - Derek Jeter even though I hate the Yankees

Hardly watch any MMA or boxing but I'll never miss a Floyd Mayweather or Anderson Silva fight

Joe Montana & Jerry Rice got me watching football in the first place- I don't think the Bears were very good at the time. Those guys will always be favorites of mine, especially Montana.

P Manning... just like his class and work ethic...
R Lewis... didn't like him before but he's won me over...
L Fitzgerald... doesn't hold out or complains... just works hard at his craft...
M Phelps... American super hero...
L Armstrong... **** it... beat the cheaters... and they hate him for it
Rory Mac... (more of a game than a sport)... but his Guiness will be flowing tonight remark after the US Open was pretty cool
