Who do you think the coaches will start in net for game 7 Tuesday? Schneider or Luongo?

Early reports state that Schneider will be healthy enough to start.

Apart from the bad passes, Schneider really did a good job. Playing at home without the huge crowd noise in his own end would probably eliminate some of those mistakes. If they don't go with Luongo, either way the game goes, he has to be done in Vancouver, right?

You would think but the Canucks have him signed to a huge contract, so getting rid of him might be a little tricky, but I am sure they could get rid of him if they really tried.

I agree with you in that Schneider played a good game. It's a tough choice though.

thought Schneider pulled his groin. Looked nasty when he went down.

Luongo does have a big contract, but I can't imagine that the Canucks would have a tough time finding a team willing to take him on. 5.33 cap hit for a Veinza finalist isn't that much though. I would have to imagine that they can find some team to take that.

This decision probably has at least one job if not two jobs riding on it. Vigneault (sp?) is toast if the Hawks win Tuesday night, and Luongo if he starts and loses has to be done as well.

And he was 31 when he signed the deal, which is very similar to the deal that Hossa signed with the Hawks. It is front loaded, and if he retires the team that has to pay very little and suffers no cap hit. Luongo's contract is not immovable.

They gave him big money for a reason.

It's sink or swim, tomorrow.

I am leaning that way too, but we'll have to see. If I were Vancouver I'd be scared. I bet they are scared. They might win this series but they will not feel good about it or get good press from winning it either.

I don't believe a lick of this Schneider suffered a "cramp" bullshit.

Ya I have to disagree. I don't know why the Canucks would want to put in Luongo unless Schneider really couldn't play. Schneider was playing well all game.
