If Brady retires ill take Todd Bowles, Vic Fangio and Wink would both be amazing.

Fangio his system seems to work here. Or if we can keep our current DC I would be ok with that too.

It doesn't make a shit bit of difference who anyone here wants. You're gonna get what the new head coach wants.

Unless the ownership tells him they’re keeping Desai as DC.

I guess that only makes sense if they hire an offensive guy. I dont really know though. Would seem weird to hire a defensive guy and tell them Desai is their DC. You can do that with an offensive coach. They probably wouldn’t even care that much. They’d just want the head coaching gig. A defensive guy and you get possible differences in philosophy and all that stuff. Big potential for clashing.

There have been a lot of great Bear defenses in my lifetime that have been wasted by coordinators who were too scared to be aggressive and take risks. So much wasted talent on the field since Buddy Ryan left. Sure there have been some good ones who I would never describe as aggressive like Rivera and Fangio.

But I want a coordinator who isn't afraid.

Last night we watched a defensive coordinator for SF learn from the first time he lost to GB and took away Rodgers money plays.
I want someone like that, and I’m not too sure that Desie is that guy.

Agreed. I want to send 5-7 after the Qb. We're haven't played " Aggressive Bear defense in yrs."

No Ryans. Please. Fangio would be great, we know what we are getting. I would favor a 3-4 guy unless they are just going to absolutely blow it up.
