Forget about needs who do you see as best player available at twenty? I like Caleb Farley he sat out last season due to covid but still an amazing talent.

He's #1/1a on my list

Him or Darrisaw

Think there's better depth at tackle than at corner from 1st to 3rd so I'd lean Farley

I think Newsome is a Pace kind of guy and could see Pace taking him at 20 over both......or desperate Pace kicks in and he reaches for a qb at 20 and says problem solved!

At 20, I'd be delighted if Jones falls to us (won't happen), very pleased if Darrisaw falls to us (might happen but probably not), content with Farley (may happen), reasonably pleased if Jenkins is the pick, neutral if Newsome is the pick (despite being an NU alum, his injury history scares me more than Farley), and pretty upset for any WR not named Chase, Waddle or Smith. Would be happier if we could slide down a few picks in the 1st and secure a 4th. Would also be happier if we could jump up to 18 for Darrisaw.

Well, he’s definitely a high character individual...

Two years after losing his mother, Caleb Farley was motivated to protect his only living parent at all costs. So when the pandemic hit, the Virginia Tech cornerback became the first college football player to opt out, a move influenced by his mom's deep faith and a willingness to be bold and different.

I could see Pace drafting him.

Aside fro his character, he has the upside to be a true #1 CB. Great length and just insane closing speed. Would love the pick, but would love it even more if they traded back a few slots and he was still there.

I think he's such a better prospect than any of the others being mentioned i wouldn't risk sliding back....just take him at 20....he's only available there because of the run on qbs (who aren't as good) and his back injury......if that's been cleared then take him.....him and Johnson could be a really good outside pair for the next 5-7 years.

Farley is too risky imo. He tore his acl in 2017. Then injures his back working out which requires surgery in 2019. Then he sits out in 2020 but re-injures his back (or apparently unrelated) anyway and gets a second back surgery a few months ago.

Well if you remove the "needs" factor it will likely be a Safety, Like Trevon Moehrig. He is considered the best Safety in the draft, but I would be pissed if they took him.
