Now that the NCAA Season is winding down, and we're all pretty sure we're going to have a bottom-3 pick, who do you hope the Bulls target in the draft?

I'm sort of loving the idea of John Jenkins, a 6'4 SG from Vandy.

A guy who shoots 43%+ from 3, hit's 85% of his FTs, can create on his own, is an intelligent player.......

Yeah, yes pls.

I never say this, but I prefer to trade our first for 2 later 2nds.
2nd rd. Tu Holloway, Dusan Cantekin. Send Tu to the D-League for 2 months, then call him up upon injury and get him in a role here. And Cantekin is purely a trade bait, and wont be eligible to come to the NBA next season anyways. But he could fill in Asik's role, if and when he leaves.

He isnt a 1st rd pick most draft sites have him going undrafted. I disagree I love his game for the nba he can shoot and defend exactly what you need in a glue guy off the bench. I love John Jenkins for the Nba one of the safest guys in the draft anyone who has a .6 seconds realese time and makes the shot as much as Jenkins does has a spot in the Nba. I have done a write up on the draft I will post later depending on who is available I could see a lot Of good fits

yup.

Now, MKG? Yeah, I'll take him. He'll never live up to his probably top-5 pick, but he can play.

I want to draft bigs. I don't want to go after a SG this year. There are a lot of shooters, and the teams that are going to pick them, are going to be stockpiled and undersized. Let them downplay their value and come here after their contracts. Nobody in our range is going to really provide much of a role for us realistically(meaning, Thibs wont develop them enough to make it worth the picks). But he'll have no choice but to utilize bigs when/if we have small injury problems. Hell, look at our injury situation now with guards and Luol, and Butler did pretty damn good, and guess what, he still doesn't have a role on this team. :(

Agreed. We do need another bigman other than Ask and Scal...Scal=LoL and probably won't be back. That leaves us with only Noah and Asik at our center rotation. If one of them gooes down it will be tough to get by.

puke. that dude won't be on an nba roster for more than 3 cumulative seasons for his career.

You're right. He doesn't play for puke university. He will, however, be a solid contributor off the bench for more than three seasons.

I disagree with this I think bigs are gonna fly off the board probably sooner than they should. Bigs are the strength of the draft IMO I think a lot of good wings will drop and in the 2nd you will be able to get a wing who is better than where he was drafted.

If I am the gm of a team like the Bulls who are a championship level team I would draft best player available regardless of position. Someone will drop they always do that is why I say I couldn't answer this question until draft day and when the team is almost on the clock.

I mean Deandre Jordan the year he was drafted I though would go top 20 and he slipped into the 2nd same thing with Danny Granger. I though Granger was a top 10 pick the year he came out and somehow he slipped big time. Dejuan Blair was a top 20 pick the year he came out again he fell it happens almost every year. It isnt like im going back on history all of these players really slipped compared to their pre draft ranking. Teams always reach on a guy and a team that is patient and takes best player on the board benefits.

Why compare him to a Duke player? Why bring that up at all?

Good God, uk fans. :smh:
