Trubisky obviously threw up some crazy numbers, but just as impressive was Nagy's understanding of how to handle him and the entire offense. Guys were getting open with much more frequency and seemed to just play smoother. The line kept Trubisky clean and allowed him to not have happy feet. It is as if the offense as a whole was suffering from information overload and scaling things back worked for everyone.

No question it’s Trubisky. Guys were open in other weeks too but he wasn’t seeing the whole field or was missing them. This is a real confidence booster for Mitch and that goes a long way for a QB.

Glad to see Nagy listed but does Gabriel deserve a listing?

It was fun to watch for sure. When it comes to Mitch, much has been made of him playing in his 16th game and how he hasn't shown the wow factor to justify the draft selection and all that. In my opinion though, this is his rookie year. Playing under Fox and in that O last year was a waste. This is a good marriage between coach and QB. Coach Nagy seems to have his finger on the pulse of Mitch and is starting to call games accordingly.

I would have to go with Nagy. As a player, I just don't think you could go from 0.66TD's game to 6 in a game type better. I think Trubisky went from not being allowed to drive grandma's 1990 Buick Century ( Fox/Loggains ) to Lance Briggs Lambo status( Nagy/Helfrich). Dialing it back to Z06 level allowed him to play with zip but not to where he was slamming the offense into a highway overpass.
I think it was true of the whole offense. Nice to see a coach that has the ability to recognize what isn't working and actually change it up.

Clean pockets give QBs a chance to throw with accuracy...

Mitch was clean all day...

Game ball mitch...

O line honorable mention

In the first quarter before they benched Kush I can't honestly say that was always the case. Daniels fared better. Overall I would have to agree with you about giving the offensive line kudos for holding up in pass pro. They had some pretty bad run blocking at times though. I need to re-watch the game to have a better feel for it though. Watching in spurts at work sucks.

I'm glad mitch had a great game. Now we can stop seeing all of the bench Trubisky/bust posts. For a week at least.

My penis when I got back to my Airbnb on vacation and saw the score. Then saw that it was all on offense. Then saw that it was all passing TDs.. wut?!
