Who is it that coaching doesn't trust? Deductive reasoning attempt.

It is my opinion that the coaching staff doesn't trust the oline to block well enough to open up the offense. Here is the logic for it.

1. IF the coaching staff didn't trust Fields, then he should have been traded before the draft.
2. The oline gave up 35 pressures in 44 drop backs, that is a 75% rate.
3. The Bears tried to fix the oline by improving 3 of the 5 positions: signing Davis, drafting Wright, and moving Whitehair to center. THose plans folded with the Jenkins injury.
4. They also traded for Moore, who is excellent at getting open fast.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Here's the thing

What if they didn't want Bryce/Stroud etc at QB either? Bryce didn't actually look all that great and neither did Stroud

Plenty of options that where open downfield but fields didnt throw the ball so its hard to say that anyone didnt trust calling deeper passes when they called plenty of med-deep passes that the QB opted for a dump off
