Many believe Aramis Ramirez will still be here, others are hoping for someone different. Who do you see starting at the corner in April of 2012? If not Ramirez, who do you want?
I frankly don't care if Rammy is back or not, I'll support whatever he does, as long as the Cubs don't overpay for him. I'd like to see him win a world series somewhere. Not everyone is going to be happy either way because if Ramirez is back many will be upset for reasons like his defense, effort, and "producing when it doesn't count". All of us will be upset next year because if it isn't Ramirez it is going to be terrible next season.
If they want a defensive upgrade, try to get Wright. He doesn't have the offensive power that Ramirez does, but he's still a solid producer at the plate.
Wright wouldn't be a bad option, and I would be curious to see if the Mets are looking to move him at all this offseason especially if they bring back Reyes for big bucks.
Let's give these prospects a chance. If you guys think Aramis Ramirez is a horrible defender at third, I can't wait to see your guys reaction to Vitters at the hot corner.

The Cubs are going to be terrible next season anyways. I'm shooting for 2013-2014 for the Cubs to compete again.
I was thinking they could always give Marquez Smith a shot. Barring that it'll be a DeWitt/Baker platoon. I think Ramirez leaves via free agency.
:dunno:Do you guys see Cubs giving up prospects to get Wright? I dont
