Toughie. Not really sure. I did cry like a baby as a 16 year old stock boy at Perry Drugs when he was traded the first time.

EDIT: HAR-OLD! HAR-OLD!

This is tough. I remember the good teams of the 60s, which was based on pitching, defense, and speed. the first bona-fide star bat we had was Dick Allen andIi remember thinking..finally! I know others that came later lasted longer and did more, but when Allen showed up in the early 70s, he brought credibility to a line-up that had not been seen for a long, long time

1) Frank Thomas (boyhood admiration)
2) Mark Buerle (mad respect for the magician throwing 85 mile an hour no hitters in 2 hrs)
3) Paul Konerko
4) A.J. Perzinski- if you can't beat em, agitate em
I know those are all cliche, I was just a little too young for Fisk.

Frank Thomas of course, but others: Aaron Rowand, Mark Buerhle, Lance "one dog" Johnson, Bo Jackson, Tim Raines, and I always liked Joe Crede.
