It's got a reboot coming out(omgomgomgog)

I've loved the show pretty much 4ever. I watch it whenever I get bored and wanna catch a show I know I love.

So, who all loves the X-Files?!

What's your fav episode?

If you have never seen 'Home', I HIGHLY recommend seeing it. It's literally a 1 hour horror movie and scared the piss outta me.

Anyways,

X files was the shit especially the first few seasons. Moulder leaving sucked obviously. The show ended terribly. I hope the reboot captures the feeling of the first few seasons,

Enjoyed the show, although it meandered quite a bit after the first couple seasons. It was killer when released, has been subsequently surpassed by quite a few shows.

I grew up watching the x files. Maybe I was too young to watch but who cares. I don't know the name of it, but my favorite episode was when Mulder goes up to Canada I believe and finds what he thinks is a EBO (extraterrestrial biological entity) brings it back to D.C. and runs more test. The body gets stolen and a guy from the D.O.D. goes on to tell Mulder that it was all planned and they even gave Scully cancer to make him believe.

So many great episodes. Really like the one the called "Ice(?)." Believe it was a nod to Carpenter's 'The Thing." Anything with Cigarette Smoking man was great.

Deep Throat: "I've never lied."
Smoking man: "And I've never killed anyone.'

Great show. Like the few several seasons the best (of course). Even enjoyed the last few in their own way. Really looking forward to this coming back.

Home was by far the best episode of the entire series...that Peacock clan still might be one of the most disturbing families to ever see prime time network television. I stumbled onto this link, FWIW.

X-Files Revival on Fox: Are We Getting a Sequel to the Season 4 Classic 'Home'?

They say you can’t go “Home” again. Well, they clearly have never met Mulder and Scully.
There are early indications that the second episode of Fox’s limited-series X-Files revival may be a sequel of sorts to the seminal, celebrated Season 4 outing “Home,” TVLine has learned exclusively.

For starters, Episode 2 of the six-episode continuation is titled “Home Again.” What’s more, the writer-director of the episode is Glen Morgan, who just so happened to pen the the original “Home” with fellow X scribe James Wong.

Still not convinced the two outings are somehow connected?

Well, both installments are the second episodes of their respective seasons, and the Jan. 25, 2016 air date for “Home Again” comes almost 20 years to the day after the Oct. 11, 1996 broadcast of “Home.”

Wait, there’s more!

Remember the freakish Peacock clan at the center of “Home”? Well, “Home Again” may out-Monster of the Week them via “Band-Aid Nose Man.” Described as intimidating, odd, weary, creepy and immeasurably strong, Mr. Man is a powerful, violent and frightening “thought” come to life.

Holy shit, really??

Omfg that would be kickass.

Yes, home was the best episode. A lot of people have never seen it, surprisingly. Then again, they banned it after its first viewing because of how disturbing it is.

Shit was messed up. Easily one of the most disturbing families I've ever seen on television.

Banned might be too heavy of a term. They had to surround the episode in an unusual amount of disclaimers and Fox even aired the episode originally an hour later than its usual start time to appease the FCC. It made re-running the episode more difficult than any other so it was rarely re-aired, but it was never really banned.

Now thanks to Netflix we can watch it whenever. Think I may do some X-Files binging in the very near future and looking forward to the reboot. Heard Gillian Anderson is already sporting the red hair again.

You ******, desp... got me back into this shit.
Right...I just watched the first three episodes for no real reason. That entire first season should be a commercial for the Ford Taurus.
