I signed up 5 times to my house, and 5 to another house, which gave me 20 free tickets. They never ask at the box office where the kid is, they actually seem very excited that your redeeming them!

Yeah but by going there is a chance you will spend money on parking, souvenirs, food... They will make money still.

So how does this work? You just sign up and they send you tickets?

Yep. They send you 2 vouchers inside of the package full of stuff. I mail them back to the Sox with games requested written on a note. I'm sure Chicagoland people can just take them to the box office.

They come in a giant envelope with stickers and stuff for kids. They have the days that you can use them right on the vouchers. Since the Sox dont really sell out I just take them up to the box office before the game. The people have always been more than happy to accept my voucher. I signed up like 10 times and just bring my friends and stuff, its awesome.

I'll just get into Cardinals games for free for every game. And then use my uncle's season tix to get into Sox games for free.

The reason they do this, they don't do it for high volume attendance games I would imagine. They do it for games against teams that as big sellers. That way the ballpark still fills up with people.

For future reference, better to do it in the off season, way bigger variety of games to choose from!
