Who would have stayed a Hawk...

We all know how that carry over bonus was $4,157,753 ...that although IMO was worth the cup...sucks ass...sooo...



Who would still be here, thinking 1 player would have made that cut -

Byfuglien - 1 more yr at 3mil then RFA

Versteeg - 2 more yrs at 3.083 then RFA

Ladd - ...RFA now/arbitration....(I'm thinking he'll get around 2.5mil?)



I would think only one of those 3 would still be Hawks...would Ladd be the favorite choce?



After seeing what Perron signed for, I really wish the Hawks could have gotten Versteeg signed to a similar deal (2yr-4.3mil - 2.15 cap hit) ...and Byfuglien should have been more in the range of what Backes got - (3yr-7.5mil - 2.5 cap hit)....



(I know about the whole fax machine fiasco prior to July 1st....just saying)

For me, order of importance is as follows.



Ladd

Buff

Steeg.



I am not saying Ladder is so much better then Buff or Steeg, just I would prefer Ladder.

I really doubt Ladd would only get $2.5m in the arbitrator if Clarke MacArthur got awarded with $2.4m for scoring 35pts with two teams last season and the year before 31pts. Ladd could easly earn $3m next season.
