This MF has no quit. When I think of Trubs the two words that come to mind are PRIDE and DESIRE. Trubisky is playing the football like we always wanted him too. Now that Nagy is out of the way, OC Lazor is calling plays to his strengths and he's balling. Strong run game and PA plays. I am fully back on the Mitchy Mitch train. I don't like it, but he's the best the Bears have this year and likely next year too if the Bears make that a possibility. I hope he beats the fucc out of the Pack next week. Bear down and buckle up, lads

Yes in the sense that im pulling for him to have a great game to get us into the play offs in style and hoping he helps us all the way to a super bowl win. Do i think hes the guy? No. But he has the opportunity to start changing a lot of peoples minds with a big game against QueenBay.

Part of being the man is picking up the rest of the team. I don't want to hear any excuses. 4M is either good enough to steer us to a win against the Pack or he isn't. If that means he has to match ARod score for score then so be it.

If he does not beat the Pack then no I would not bring him back. I would draft a QB and move on. This is a very binary decision for me. Either 4M proves he can be the man or we draft someone who we think can be the man.

Our offense played well in 2018 when they played a bunch of crappy AFC teams and were brought back to earth when they had to play real teams.

Because it is a waste of limited resources. If 4M is not the man then I would rather take any money we would pay him and invest it in the OL and making the team around the rookie QB better. The Bears cap situation isn't so splendid that we can waste 10-15 million on a QB that isn't the long term answer.

i feel like banking on a rookie who isn’t gonna he one of the higher end prospects and nick foles is dumb. mitch ain’t the guy but he’s serviceable.

You may be too young to remember the Lovie Smith Bears always hovering around 7-9 and never quite able to put it all together. I have no desire to relive those glory days.

The vast majority of rookie QBs since 2015 have played their rookie year. It is standard these days. At the end of the day you are free to have a different opinion but I take rookie QB plus 10-15 million for to spend over rookie QB and 4M.

well the logic is this offense has actually improved and if this was the offense we had this entire season, the bears would not be hovering .500. Bears will also be avoiding a 1st place schedule next season and again if this offense comes back next season, Mitch included, the Bears could probably improve on their record. with a real DC that could be a play off run.

I'm with Remy. If we beat the Packers then some sort of extension or tag should happen. Otherwise, it's Mitch as usual, and we should move on regardless of who our QB is next year because stringing Mitch along is just prolonging the inevitable.

No doubt we will have to have a down year. I would rather start during the 2021 off-season than 2023 or 2024.
