Kerr is has the highest career 3pt fg%. Korver has the record for highest 3pt% in a season. Who's the better shooter?

the thing is...

Kerr took 1.8 3's per game in his career. Korver is at 4.1 3's attempted per game.

so Korver is taking a lot more than Kerr, which is obviously going to hurt his % a little.

but it's not like Korver has been bad in his career.. 41% from the 3pt. line.

also, kerr's % is a little inflated due to those 2 [or was it 3?] seasons when the 3 point line was moved in... so that helped Kerr's % quite a bit

What kind of question is this????.....Steve Kerr without even giving it thought...For his career, he averaged over 45% from 3 point range..He is the most accurate three point specialistt in NBA history...He is also the only player in history on 4 consecutive championship teams without being a member of the boston Celtics franchise.....If you could choose to have Steve Kerr or Kyle Korver on your team, how could you not choose Kerr....THE MAN WAS LITERALLY A REAL LIFE GOOD LUCK CHARM AND DEPENDABLE IN CRUCIAL CLUTCH SITUATIONS.

One thing that I don't think Kerr gets a lot of credit for is his durability..He would be the smallest guy on the court and get banged around, knocked to the floor and get right up, and somehow manage to stay almost injury free especially in the playoffs...He wasn't scared of shit.....

Kerr, but I think Korver is a little bit better shooting off screens. Spotting up though, forget it....

I would take Kerr, just because he has a history of shooting well in big games. But Korver has had his moments as well, but not as many as Kerr

Kerr, easy.

I saw this dude in a shoot around in the beginning of the 93-94 season, go from corner to corner and not miss one shot. This was with the real 3-point line. I also saw Kukoc do this before a pre-season game, but he clanked one hard at the end and wound up hitting a luvabull while they were practicing.

It was very funny.

valid points

still..kerr had a crazy high 3 point % and also knew how to make them in the clutch(and also in the playoffs)

korver relies more on screens too imo to get his shot off

You can say that, but in reality, the 3-point shot wasn't used as heavily as it is now. Teams overall were not shooting 3's like that. The Magic were, but they were the exception and not the rule.
