he's a decent shooter from midrange, but he's not a 3pt shooter. If we dont want a three pt shooter, why do we have tyrus out there at the 3? also what the crap, do we really want tyrus at 3? why not use jj?

JJ is out of shape and can't shoot straight, and he is sometimes confused as to where he should be on the court. Hopefully he will grow with a new coach, right now...he doesn't look good at all. I also don't like Tyrus at the three, they need another guard and could then use Salmons at 2/3 as needed. I think that is best.

I know one thing, Tyrus Thomas would rather be a 3 than a 4. This is a dream come true for him.

Tyrus's game is not polished enough to play the 3, deffensively he can play the 3, but
his mid-range shot is very erratic

he wanted to become a 3 last year, but i think most of the nation was appaulled by the idea of putting tyrus at the 3. here we are doing just what we complained about last year. If we're bringing salmons off the bench, why not let him have msot of tyrus' minutes at the 3.

So true. And if D'Antoni had become the Bulls coach, this would've been a reality.

But that's the problem with tweeners. They're either too small to bang in the post or too poor of a shooter to play on the wing. I've said this many times but Tyrus needs to mold his game around Josh Smith's in order to be an effective player in this league.

I hope you mean this year's Josh Smith, not the one from years past that thought he could shoot threes.

Of course I mean this year. Though Tyrus' probelm is he's fallen in love with the 15-20 footer.
