Chris Getz. Always liked the kid and he seems to be fairing quite a bit better the GB...

He was traded in 2009 with Fields for Teahen.

I guess having both around would make an okay platoon:

Getz vs lefties: .tOPS+ of 106
Beckham vs righties: tOPS+ of 101

Not the greatest, but better than Beckham out there now, sure.

Although, trading for Teabag wasn't so bad at the time. We needed a third basemen since Fields wanted out after being replaced by Beckham and second base could being reserved for Beckham or Rutherford. And Teabag had the power potential and figuring playing the Cell would help tap some of that power.

its all about the present in any trade, and what i mean by that is when the trade actually happens.
