I used to play football growing up, before the current crop of black QBs that we have now, The funny thing is that when I was young, black American QBs were traditionally stereotyped by racist front office figures in the NFL for relying purely on athleticism and not being able to process the game. We passed on Watson and Mahomes for a guy Trubisky, who actually represents every stereotype that has ever existed for black QBs. Just the fact that we as fans hope that our number 2 overall pick does more with his legs than his arm is pretty insane to me. We got kids like Herbert throwing for 300 yards every week and look what we have after 3 WHOLE YEARS!!! it's crazy lol. There are already 10+ QBs in the league who are better than Mitch RIGHT now, and I wouldnt be shocked if the next class of guys like Trevor Lawrence dont surpass him next year too, further moving Mitch deeper into the the 15-20 range when ranking QBs.
