No one has proved to be even anywhere near a replica. I honestly believe there never will be. Til I'm proved otherwise, everybody else is just another player racking up stats. That makes these nobody wannabees nothing but a far second best.

Which second best is truly only the first loser.

He gets compared to him because he has a somewhat similar style. But not many people think he ever could be better than him.

Similar but not a carbon copy. The media is bleeding for a truly copy of Jordan. They've tried their absolute damnedest to talk guys up to being him reincarnated on the court. Let's hit up the list:

- Kobe Bryant.......close but no cigar
- Dwyane Wade....dude hasn't done enough to prove his case.
- LeBron James....gimme a break, not even there yet
- Vince Carter......great player but can only dunk.
- Tracy McGrady...great size, too injury prone. Noooo way

I'm sure talks of more players I'm leavin out. Prolly because they don't amount to it.

Yeah I agree. I think Kobe has the post game perfected (much like Jordan) but in every other way, Wade is just like Jordan (from moves to his on-court mentality).

Wade cant shoot like Jordan or Kobe even though he has improved his jumper.

What really makes people compare Kobe to Jordan IMO is their clutch factor. Their ability to take over games late and drain tough jumpers when contested. Their overall body of work is similar and they both went through the same ball hog criticism earlier in their careers.

With that being said, no he's not even close to being Jordan. They need to stop using rings as a measuring stick when comparing to greats. Jordan whether healthy of sick put the weight of the world on his shoulders and came through in huge games. 6 time finals MVP. Kobe has 2 and you could argue that Gasol deserved this one. Jordan didnt attempt shots as difficult as Kobe has been accustomed to taking but he was a more efficient scorer.

As we know, we are not gonna be the people to argue against Jordan's legacy. We f*€k|n Bulls fans! Lol

The thing I hope u all understand is that NO ONE (zero-zilch-nodda-nathan)...

Can even F with what we've seen in our days. Most of us are younger Bulls fans that grew up in the 90's watchin' them tear everybody apart. To those younger who have not experienced it....we got time & cap space! Lol

Be proud to be a Bull n F*€k the rest.

Yezzir.

But can you really blame the media/NBA for trying to compare today's greats with the no-doubt greatest of all time? The very fact that even one player in the game today is comparable to Jordan is marketing gold.

Trying compare the media's opinion n the fans opinion will get everyone no where. Lol

Your try'n to talk 2 total different walks of life here. The media will kill over the smallest scrap just to make their buck. Good for them for the effort honestly.

Thing is, the fans actually see it how it really is. That fact will tell you, if you take a survey across the country, that little boy Kobe is no Jordan my friend.

We love our Bulls for a reason. If the truth is meaning someone that's Jordan's exact replica comes along...Jupiter will know about it. It will be that big of a deal thanks to the Media.

I'm not saying that Kobe = Jordan, I'm saying that Jordan practically hoisted the NBA up on his shoulders when he was playing, making it the most popular (and thus profitable) it had been in a long time, and the fact that there are a few players at least comparable to Jordan in the game today is a marketing goldmine that the media and the NBA would be fools to pass on by.

Lefty, I am not pointing you out on this. I understand what you mean fully.

I still, I guess, can't stand the media's repeated disrespect in so many ways to our team & it's great players from the past. The media has a bigger need for attention now then ever.

Screw everybody else. Ain't nobody touchin' us! :beerbang:
