Jennings goes for 55!!! Why can Rose score like that, whats his career high? He doesn't have the "it" factor that MJ had and Kobe and even Gordon have. 7 tos this game pathetic. Disappearing during the closing stretches of games, not taking the last shot of the game. Rose is either still injured or severely overrated. Either way, Rose's lack of improvement is much more concerning than the poor play of Kirk and Salmons.

All the happiness I get from watching Noah improve and Deng return to form goes away as I watch Rose play mediocre basketball.

Also, was I the only one who thought Rondo looked much better than Rose during the series last year? I mean outside of the 1st game of the series, Rose never dominated in crunch time, it was mainly Gordon.

I hope Rose is still recovering from the ankle.

Looks like my predictions are doing very well thus far! That brings me a lot of delight.

I think it is simply that Derrick Rose isn't that good. He's not a franchise player. Unfortunately the press / fans anointed Rose to the franchise player status, which led to some idiotic idea of building around Rose (rather than Rose just being a piece), which ended with us losing a star player.

So I guess Rose is the next player you want to trade? -.-*

Seriously wait a little bit. Last year Rose had Gordon, now he is alone and asked to be the leader. That´s not an easy situation for him. Give a 21 year old guy a little more time to get used to leading an NBA team and get healthy again.

Rose was nowhere near as good as people were making him out to be last year too.

Wow. You guys are jumping the gun just a little bit. If I weren't mistaken, the ol' Chicago fair weather fan syndrome is setting in...
I'm admit he's struggling but how can you guys make the assessments you are? It's his second year!!

First and foremost....Rose is injured. That was especially obvious starting the season. While I am disappointed in Rose at times, that is all part of the frustration that goes with watching him grow. I do believe he will be a star.

I don't believe Rose had anything to do with the Bulls letting Elton Brand go like that...

Rose needs to step up and drive the lane that is all. He looks for clear paths and room but needs to attack the basket like bron and wade. Use his speed and power to draw contact not shy away. I think these last couple of games are more telling of roses mentality than ability. the offense is struggling and he has to start looking for his shot, not trying to run the offense.

Obviously you all are putting artificial pressure on someone that doesn't entertain that idea of being such player. Rose has always been a Pass first Guard and if you don't put the right players around him then you won't get the results. When you have a SF that needs someone to create for him, it subtracts from the Point Guard. Second, our 2guard doesn't space the floor, his game is a little unorthodox. Third, We don't have a sure-thing in the post. I'm still waiting for Bulls to build around Rose. They felt that drafting James Johnson and Taj Gibson was more crucial to light a fire under Tyrus Thomas and Loul Deng than drafting a more idealistic player for Rose. I think Rose looked a lot better on the floor with Derrick Byars to be honest. Is it me or Rose just looks better with a Pure Shooter.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
1) Because he's still feeling the effects of his ankle injury, even if it's just a small nagging pain, it alters your game. I speak from experience.
2) The lanes are closing in on him because of the lack of perimeter shooting.
3) He's just not being as aggressive as he needs to be, which can be attributed to his injury.
