The simple explanation we all received when that word was censored was that it looks bad to potential advertisers to see a bunch of 13 year olds throwing homosexual slurs around constantly....especially considering this world of internet tough guys, who lose arguments and immediately retreat to that sort of retort out of sheer embarrassment. That was good enough for me.
