This guy would be a great 1 or 2 year rental. He would keep the Bulls at the #1 rebounding and #1 defensive team while improving their #12 offense. He is a 6'8'' forward with point guard skills and great, improved three-point shooting ability. And is a high character guy (much like Battier) who would show Rose what it is truly like to handle himself as a classy individual on a day-to-day basis as a great player. I'm sure some of the experiences Grant Hill could share with Rose would make taking him on for a year worth it. He has developed his game over the course of his career by expanding it and he is still in the league in his late 30's as a perimeter player to show for it.

He will likely go back to the Suns but why are Bulls' fans straight-up ignoring this guy?

that's probably why...he would be a good fit..but he's getting older..definitely close to retirement

more or less it also depends on how much he is going to be..he wont be expensive..but he isnt worth minimum either..

and i think the bulls need a SG before anything else..unless you want to play hill there:shrug:

yeah, what code said. The fact that he said he will probably return to the Suns.

A couple of days ago, Grants agent said the knicks and Bulls made a nice pitch to Hill though... but still looks like he wants to return to PHX

Well, yeah. I still don't know if these Caron Butler and Jamal Crawford rumors are any more realistic either. Grant Hill can definitely play the 2 in the Bulls' offense for the exact same reasons that Caron Butler can.

From what I read this morning he is highly leaning towards joining the knicks

I would love him on this team for sure

I see Grant Hill staying in Pheonix simply because of their training staff. He didn't go to Boston a few years ago and I don't see him leaving now.

Hill doesn't want to come here. He put the Knicks on the list, only because he likes the D'Antoni scheme. I'd take Grant, I don't think he would take us.

I think all of the above sums it up. We don't talk about him because he doesn't want to come here even though we'd like to have him. Plus the whole age thing. I think management is looking for guys they can put next to Rose for a few years at least.

He is getting up there in age, and he will progressively get slower.

The age thing isn't much of an issue to me. Hill still has a great deal of athleticism leftover from his explosive/high-flying days and all of the skills to boot. And it's not as though he would be here for more than a couple of years. The Bulls could hypothetically find a replacement for Hill when his short contract expires.

Grant Hill would be a great leader on our team who could do many things for us.
A veteran leader on the bench who could come in and start if Deng or our 2guard goes down....AND PEOPLE HAPPEN TO SEEM TO FORGET THAT HE ALSO HAS POINT GUARD SKILLS AND CAN READ THE FLOOR WELL..HE WOULD HELP ROSE OUT WHEN HE SITS DOWN.........
A great insurance policy with a winning attitude who has made it through every adversity a player could go through......Except a ring.......and he deserves one and he knows being here would be his last chance at a ring so he would be open to do whatever is asked of Coach Thibbs....And he's a Pax kinda guy with the class act.......

Did I forget to mention that the guy can still ball?

Plus who knows if the bulls have grant hill in mind or not......
Pax usually keeps information from the public when it comes to who they are pursuing.

Plus most players that have joined the bulls through pax's reign over the bulls kingdom, are unexpected....
Maybe Grant Hill will be an early surprise christmas present for our team.

I really see him having a positive effect on the bulls players and how not to take this game and time as a player or health for granted.

Sorry fellas, but there is one other future possibilities and upside to GRANT HILL being on the Bulls.

And it goes farther than a couple years, he could benitfit the Bulls after retirement.

GRANT hill has a very very high IQ and a great understanding of the game of basketball.
Purhaps he could become prt of the Bulls coaching staff or even get a job in the front office later on.
He's a quality guy that would be good for any orginization including ours.
Bring Grant Hill to the Chi.

You don't beat the Heat because you added Grant Hill. The Bulls are thinking bigger.

Not another Duke player!!!!!!!!!!

I like Deng & Boozer, but we have to get out of love with Duke and their players.

Brand
Deng
Boozer
Duhon
J. Williams

(Battier was in the talk, along with Hill)

Just too many for this UNC fan to deal with lol.

Hill Isn't my first choice, and I never said Grant=championship.

But he would bbe a decent roll player to add to the bench.

An yes, I always been a Grant Hill fan and it has nothing to do with Duke.....I don't even like Duke...

Grant Hill's short list is said to still include Phoenix, Chicago, New York and San Antonio.

Band aid on a bullet wound. Not as sexy a signing. Short term solution. Most people want something that helps the team long term to compete with the Heat.

I see why there isn't more *pop* about it. I'd like the signing personally but it's defeinetly not the player most of the fan base is clamoring for.

But Grant Hill grew up idolizing Scottie Pippen :troll:

That makes him a winner in my book.
