This guy is only 23 years old, average close to 20 points last year and was healthy. He won't get a max contract and maybe a 5 year deal for 9-11 million a year.

I propose a trade in another thread:
Trade Deng with the 1st round pick for next year for a 2nd.

Then sign Rudy *** to they same contract or so. If the Bulls are goping to possibly get Bron and Bosh, there team will be really young and won't need that 1st roung pick as it would probably be close to the end.

Lineup: Ages:
Rose 21
Bron 25
Bosh 26
Noah 25
*** 23

Bench: Ages:
Gibson 25
Johnson 23
Duhon 27 (looking more and more likely he will sign with Bulls)
Law 25 (I know I keep mentioning this but I hope he comes back)
Another player-maybe undrafted player

As you can see is that happens, all the players are under 30 and that would be so nice.

That would be sicka nd I would love that linup even more.
Thoughts?

He really hasn't have time to shine as he was on the Griz and not Mayo, Gasol is the main ones. He is younger, way way more healthy and maybe couls sign him cheaper than Dend. I'm a fan of ***.

*** is more explosive but Deng is more well rounded and consistent. If we bring in the free agents we're talking about bringing in, then it becomes kind of important to have guys who can contribute besides scoring.

I really dont think *** helps all THAT much. If Chicago gets LeBron and a PF, then what makes more sense is an outside shooter.

But can Deng stay healthy? I don't think so and he does not help sitting on the bench. *** does not have injuries problem, younger, faster and will drive to the hoop.

How can *** help without scoring? Between Rose and LeBron, there are already 2 huge slashers. How does *** compliment them vs, say a defender or a 3 pt sniper?

It's like asking, How can Deng help?

Ive already addressed that. He plays more consistent defense and doesnt need to shoot to help the team.

Why ask a question when the answer has already been provided. Selectively acknowledging what has been said doesnt do much for discussion. It generally leads to hampsterwheeling and posturing. This is the kind of stuff one usually expects from 1st timer and lefty.

I envy on how the way you think and your approach at this. Such a splendid explanation.

Deng can help because he is a great midrange shooter and can finish around the rim with contact. He's an above-average defender at SF and can shoot at a high percentage.

How can he help? = really bad question. The guy is a great all around player - from his great rebounding to his passing

Rudy *** is an overrated ball hog who has little dimension to his overall game besides scoring

hell i'd rather take a healthy deng than him

I would take a healthy Dend to but can he stay healthy. That is the question, we will have to see during the season.

First off, if I sign LeBron/Bosh and im able to move Deng for a future pick, i dont send the money right back out for another SF that we dont need. Say you need 3M of Dengs contract for Bosh to get his max, then youll have roughly 7Mil left over, rather than Bosh taking slightly less and us having nothing. Make a 3M offer to Anthony Morrow and see is GS matches it. Fill out the bench however you like with the rest.
