I'm not sure how he is as a coach, but he seems pretty grounded as a homosapien. He stresses that Caleb's priorities now are to (in no particular order):
  • Be willing to work
  • Learn the concepts of the offense (which he's been working on for a while now)
  • Learn the playbook
  • Take coaching
  • Win the locker room by putting in the time and the work
Sounds like a good plan; he's got some good advisors around him.

How is this different from the same stuff everyone already does? Not trying to be rude but this is standard.

One ramification of NIL that I hadn't previously considered is how players have the resources to have teams around them that have them potentially better prepared than they have been in the past. Don't get me wrong, guys, particularly #1 picks have had been doing outside work to prepare for the draft and to prepare for the league for a while now, but it seems like now it has the potential to be taken to another level. I'm not sure if that's always going to be good or bad, but hopefully it works out for us in this instance. Williams' success or failure is going to affect a whole bunch of jobs.

**** if I know. I didn't even get close to playing pro (and even if I had, it would have been 34 fucking years ago), I never played QB, and certainly couldn't have afforded a private coach (although I sorta had one for sprinting). I just posted it because it was interesting, and what the **** else is there to talk about?
