Now that we are out of the LeBron running and wont be a legit contender in the NBA. Will Jerry give the ok to use the rest of the cap? We all want a SG and then some role players to make us even better but will he take it that far? Will he give up building this team now that theres no superstar? Will he pay the luxury tax in the seasons to come?

Who says we won't be a contender?

Get us a decent shooting guard who can hit from deep and we'll be a very tough team.

Jerry will pay for a contender..If he currently thinks we are contenders he will pay the money...He if doesnt think we can contend in the East, he'll stay under the luxury tax, but he will likely spend the remaining money under the cap we have.

Is Rose and Noah can improve then its possible we will contend but right now i see a few teams better than us in the East.

The games are played in the arena, not on paper. granted, the South Beach HEAT have the fantastic 3, but let's see how they build the roster. I will not bet $ against them, but the Bulls have a chance to beat them, especially if we get a shooter, like Korver...

Exactly!

Rose has improve in both of his seasons. Noah has made a huge leap. Both of these guys raise their games in the post season. You add Boozer to the top rebounding and one of the top defensive teams in the league with a good shooter and the Bulls are a very dangerous team.

magic is the only one for sure. we're better than aging boston, we're better than the hawks and miami's bench is WAY too suspect.

A Heat fan friend of mine says the Heat will fill in nicely, starting with Miller, maybe Shaq and a couple defensive speialists. He thinks players will come to South Beach cheap just to play with the FAB 3
I say we can compare teams when the smoke clears and the rosters are seen!

Not that Shaq would have to do much..but other than fill up space Shaq is useless on the defensive end.

The only thing Jerry hates to pay is pitchers...he'll pony up the cash. He paid MJ something 30 mill a season towards the end. It was easily worth it but still, at that time it was WAY, WAY higher than anyone else was getting paid. If you perform, Jerry rewards you.

Javy Vasquez, Mark Buerhle, Jose Contreras, and Jake Peavy called. From their mansions, which Jerry paid for. They all told me to tell you "suck it." :cookiemonster:

Now that they got rid of Beasley, i see them filling up. The *** 3 are willing to take pay cuts to build a winner and Riley will work it out. I would like to believe that these three guys playing teams and teasing fan bases would have turned off some veteran players but lets be real, 9 out of 10 of them will choose Miami over us. They can play with some of the leagues best in a better climate.

No one cares about respect. No one cares about the empty seats that formerly filled Miami. They will go for the rings.
