I don't know how I feel about this series now. I came into this series #calledit for a cakeroll steamwalk HAWKS in 4.

Bishop is just too big and too good kind of like Crawford in 2013 and Niemi in 2010.

Can the Hawks offense solve this guy? He even SHUTOUT the Rangers TWO times at MSG in the conference finals.

BIG GAME BISHOP

The Hawks will solve Bishop eventually. I just hope it isn't until they are down 3-1, or 3-0 in a series. Let's solve him this period.

And shutting the Rangers offense out is not that impressive, even at MSG.

its not bishop they need to solve its Tampas steady defense right now. Not really giving the Hawks anything to look at. Pretty impressed so far didnt expect it from that blueline.

I heard a former goalie breaking down Bishop on NHL Radio. Said the Rangers got almost 0 quality chances in those two shutouts. The Bolts play strong team D, and if they don't, big boy will get exposed.

So to me, it's more about solving the D than Bishop. I was impressed with their D last night.

Agreed. Though, they really shouldn't rely on a trap to get the job done... Q will likely pick that apart.

Plus it takes away from everything that Tampa does well and did well in the first period.

TT will end up being the greatest and most prolific Hawks scorer of all time... it's no surprise he got a a softie on him.

You're a softie.

But really, they need net front presence in front of him. If Bishop is too much of a pussy to fight through a screen by Kruger then park someone in front of him the entire series.
