That's what happens when you go all in on a rebuild and fuck it up. Waste 5 years and are now back to square one. The owner gets tired of the same old shit....so much so here that he's looking to get out of dodge. I wish he'd do every NBA fan in Chicago a solid and sell the Bulls as well.

A few random thoughts here:
- Given all of the smoke going on the past 72 hours, the real fire is probably Reinsdorf selling.
- Jerry is the real problem.
- Spiegel was saying JR's kids are going to be looking to buy up the minority shares to get as much as possible out of a future sale.
- Should have never fired Renteria.
- LaRussa was a waste of 2 years.
- I don't think they'll leave 35th and Shields

Hope not.

I think the city can afford to lose the Chicago Bears at Solider Field and still profit on the venue.

If the White Sox left, I don't think you can do much other than cut your losses and demo the site.

Either way, I agree that Jerry selling the team is the best move for the franchise..unless this is another worthless half measure from one of the more useless owners in pro sports.

La Russa hired as a consultant. That will fix things! Would almost bet anyone here a hundred dollars they'll hire Chris Getz for the GM position. He's done such a terrific job with the minor leagues and player development.

LaRussa should had never been allowed in the building. Right now, someone in security needs to escort him out.
Also, don't be surprised if JR puts at least one of those fired clowns on the Bulls... It's his thing. He likes doing stupid shit like that.
