Besides trading CQ, most anyone else he trades will be a major fuckup.

Don't roll the dice, Mr. Gambler.

I still think a CQ for Morgan deal with MILW would help both teams

Oh, don't get me wrong. I would LOVE to get rid of Rios, Dunn or Peavy... I was just under the assumption that no GM in their right mind would actually trade for those players. I was thinking about how the only players that are "really" available.

I will give up on Dunn if he doesnt comeback to his career numbers or something close.

Rios I gave up on, even when he had the one descent year.

Peavy can be dealt IMO. 60% insured for a team desperate for pitching.

just my thoughts.

Since we're probably not going to get anything major league ready for anybody. I feel pretty good with this team going into the season in 2012. Maybe all they needed was someone not Special person to manage them?

if they dont sell off this offseason, and i mean with danks and especially konerko i think they will be ok.

as fans we like to make huge assumtions on coaches and players and taking shit at face value, no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.

True. But a lot of the stuff that has been being reported seemed like no one really responded to Ozzie, Walker, etc anymore. Not saying its true, but its something to ponder.

Ventura is pretty baseball smart IMO. He's far more competent than Ozzie, although most people are. Even though he's yet to manage, I think he'll do just fine.

I hope so. When I figured there was going to be a house cleaning I had Robin listed as a possible bench coach because of his knowledge.

to say Ventura is better than Ozzie at being a Manager is at his point outragous...Ozzie won a World Seriesasn't won a game yet! Ozzie wore out his welcome with the team and his players and had to go but the guy responsible for bringing in this load of Cow shit and signing them is/was and always will be Kenny "Who You Crappin" Williams!
