Anybody else into this?

Me and Grim were thinking about starting up a league and would be open to adding a few CCS bros if you are cool and shit. We'll bring the beer, got my cousin for the plane (no need to charter - it's a crop duster we just strap right on to the top wing with some bungie cables)

I've only been doing it for a couple of weeks but it's a fucking blast.

NICE! One thing though, do you know of any nice cliffs that are less than a couple of hours away? Sometimes the duster is getting tuneups and the shop guy will be backed up, don't wanna have that fall through and ruin a saturday afternoon...

I guess we will have to work on backup locations.

I wonder if my extra weight will be like, cheating, when we race down. Or will my larger than normal profile actually work against me since it will create added drag therefore slowing down my descent? Physics can be a total mind **** sometimes.

What are you talking about Crys? This is super serious wingsuit talk here.

Clearly I am merely an amateur wingbro. But I can learn.

I used to go hang gliding when I was stationed in Hawaii. Since Illinois is very flat, rolling at best, I took the opportunity to go again a few years ago on a trip to Colorado. Rented a suit and did a few jumps. And wow, that beat skydiving and hang gliding big time, but it's certainly much more of a workout than hang gliding and you have a parachute like skydiving(but less control in basejumping without the wingsuit), so I wouldn't do it unless you're in good shape(good, not great, you don't have to be a super athlete either).

Since the whole wingsuit thing is so young still, I'm really curious to see how much more evolved the gear has gotten since 2011.

Oh, I'm no pro, believe me. I still make sure to wear a helmet and a backup chute. Like I said, only like a couple of weeks into the season right now. I've skydived many times and did that drop thing at Great America, so alot of it came natural. Plus I logged like 40 hours on the simulator...
