I was the victim of a racially motivated attack at Oak Forest's Gaelic Park once in the early 90's, some ####ung drunk off his ass Irish teenager looking for a fight found out I had a Scots surname and wanted to start something with me over Northern Ireland, putz.

Racism in its true form is ugly and unneeded in this age. I don't know how they are planning to curb these behaviours, the deterrance should have happened by now by the parents, society and their teachers.

People want something to blame for their station in life, or events in general outside their control.



A mob of one ethnicity attacking members of another ethnicity wholesale is akin to Kristallnacht no matter who is doing it to who.



The problem lies in one group or another feeling they have justification for their action.





The problem is while that side is getting what they feel is "Justice" they simply created that same mentality in the people they victimized. I wouldnt be surprised in the least if many white observers of this story or victims, develop a lifelong hatred for black people they will take to their grave.



Do you think for a minute after world war 2, if we had given all the remaining european jews weapons and unleashed them on an unsuspecting unarmed german populace to exact vengeance the people that participated wouldnt have committed the same horrible atrocities for which they were subjected to?





Some people don't have the ability to rationalize, i can recognize this was an Isolated group, and is not reflective of the people as a whole. I have friends of tons of ethnicities I know would never participate in an activity like this, and that is what keeps me level, Ive seen and experienced the good in everyone.



Not many people have relationships outside their ethnic background, and may not be prejudice, but a situation like this could stir it when they really have no personal counter example.



I think its almost impossible to stop though, there will always be groups of people that have this mentality, and even resonate to an extent with the majorities of all ethnicities.



Take Gandhi for example, renowned as a man of peace, humanitarianism and equality. The guy absolutely detested black people.

So basiclly this whole so called mob hits is blacks beating up, white people for their goods. Just yesterday read about how a man and his girlfriend was attacked few beat up the guy and some were grabbing the girls privates. I'm sorry, the only reason this is not making major headlines is because they don't want to start a white against blacks war all over again, and some are saying also that they don't what to make major headlines is because the blacks have been through enough....well this is where I come in. where is the Fckn Jessie Jackson through all this. So if the whites were doing this it. he would have started a rally for all blacks to parade and fight back. Again If I had any say, My law would be, not to add more police because basically ILL cops are as corrupt as they come. I to all Chicago people who witness this, run them over. I will bet my life they would not see this again. then take pictures of them on the ground and post it on TV for all to see. I am sooo done with this bullshit in this Country of how these people think just cause one of their own is the president, think it's free for all to do what they want. I am a minority too, My people suffered threw much worse then these *******! We went through genocide, torchers, wars and believe me, read about Assyrian civilazation. But you don't see us running around rapping people, killing people mugging people for the hell of it. Enough is enough people need to stand up and do the same thing back...they don't like it, then get the hell out and go back to your country were they can't even build a house, yet I still see commericals of charity telling us working citizens to pay a dollar a month to support these people. I have seen commericals for about thirty years now, and they still look like they were when I was a kid.



Call me a racists, I don't care after reading and seeing what these so called flash mobs are doing to the white, working people trying to make a living, I have had it.

Wow. Do you really believe fighting senseless violence with more senseless violence and then going on to plaster images of that horror as some sort of fear inducing symbolic message to black people would really be helping things? Do you really think getting into a debate of who's people had it worse through history is really going to solve anything or prove anything? Go back to their country? Unless I missed something and the majority of black people now living here immigrated from Africa, this is their country as much as it is yours. It's very easy to let your emotions get the best of you when dealing with things like this, this isn't near representative of black people everywhere. As far as that dig about not being able to build homes and living in squalor and it's people starving , did you ever think about why it's like that?
