I am retired. Used to own a couple of businesses. One was a small motel in a tourist and mining area in SW Colorado. Another was a green carpet cleaning business in Colorado Western Slope area. Had a small retail shop for a while too. Also worked in warehouses and factories and bartender in my younger days. Also worked on a few commercials. Had a buddy who was a Key Grip. He took me along sometimes. Worked some construction. So basically a jack of trades, master of none.

It was for sale and I had enough for the down payment. The motel was about 20 years old. !2 units. Enough to manage, clean, remodel and still have time to have some fun. i was 25 when I bought it. Sold part of it and the operations at 43. Still owned a piece until last year. It was my cash cow.Flasher is from a Guess Who song. My favorite band back then.

Got the job. It's temporary but may lead to more. Good enough. I really don't want to work too much. Just once in a while or part time.
